BioMy name is Kyle. I'm 19. This LJ is prettymuch friends only. It wasn't intended to be this way, and I dislike that it is... but, I don't want some people reading this, so thats just how it is. I'm fairly indiscriminate about adding people, though.
I'm slightly fucked up, though I'd still consider myself fairly stable. I exercise compulsively, not because I particularly want to but more as a kind of mental compensation- I took no care whatsoever of my body when I was younger, which obviously got me a bit down on that subject, low self esteem and all that. So, I'd guess the exercise issue is because of that. Not that it helps, because my self esteem still sucks. Demo, watashiwa nihongoga sukoshi wakarimasu =D
I don't socialise much, and my interests are mostly to the lines of Anime and computer related stuff. I hate the term Otaku because of its origins, so I wouldn't call myself that. I also wouldn't call myself a computer geek because my computer fiddling tends to cause more problems than it solves, really. So I'd guess I'm just a fairly antisocial dork. I used to play both Magic: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG, but don't anymore after developing a passionate hatred for almost everyone I've met who plays those games (tends to be everyone who plays either a: takes no care of their body, or b: is extremely stupid, or c: gets way, way too worked up about the game, or d: a combination of the above). If i met someone interesting who played either I'd probably start playing again in an instant (fear my Chaos/Control and Rat hordes). I'm not very good at Magic, but at my peak I was probably one of the top ten YGO duelists in the UK, based on the fact that I could hold my own against both the current and previous UK champions of the game, and also based on having competed in/judged tournaments all over the UK and Scotland ..admittedly I never won any of the huge tournaments. Local ones, on the other hand, I competed in 8 and won 7 (twice eliminating the current UK champion).
I don't speak to my family, for reasons I have no intention of speaking about.
I have above average intelligence, but below average emotional intelligence, and poor social skills in most situations. I also get headrushes a lot, so if i look like I'm about to fall over for no apparant reason... well, I'd wonder why you're stalking me, long and short of it. Thankfully thats improved as of late.
